Trail riding
Both in experience and tradition, Vered Hagalil has much to be proud of. We were the first in the country to do guided trail rides, as early as 1965 when we did 2-day cross-Galilee rides for the Club Mediterranean. Both Israelis and foreign tourists soon found that horseback was a wonderful way to tour and feel the beauty and history of Israel as a Biblical country.

We do one hour, two hours, half -day rides and more. The riding is leisurely, with no galloping. They are led by experienced guides whose first consideration is comfort and safety of the riders. Novice riders are given instructions and demonstrations at outset of the rides. Maximum size of a group is kept to 15 riders, but we also accommodate single riders and small groups.
Romantic rides seeing the lights of Tiberius and the shimmering Sea of Galilee are done on full-moon nights and the night before and after the full moon from about 2000 to 2300. A short break for a glass of wine is part of the ride. Rides must be reserved in advance. Minimum of 4 riders.
Cost of rides:
one hour - 120 NIS
Two hours - 250 NIS
Half-day - 500 NIS

Hotel guests receive 10 % reduction
Long trousers and closed shoes are required. We supply riding helmets.
Long Rides
What with the Galilee Hills, Jordan River Delta, Sea of Galilee lakeshore, we're glad to do full day, and two or three day rides. We also have the "Bonanza" ride where we ride to the shore of the Sea of Galilee, have a cook-out, sleep overnight and ride back in the morning.
