History
Yehuda Avni, a native Chicagoan came to Israel in 1949, went to Kibbutz Hatzerim where he met and married Jerusalem born Yonah. After some years in a Moshav, having the urge to do something more challenging, he decided to create a guest farm where three of his main interests in life could be combined: farming, horses and people. It took a while to find the right piece of land, a beautiful site overlooking the Sea of Galilee, but it also was strewn with boulders and thistles.

Little by little land was cleared, rose nursery and trees planted,
(with help from the Keren
Kayemet) organized trail-riding begun, and then… time and patience: over the years: restaurant, cabins, cottages, orchards…all the while with the help of a devoted, hard working staff sharing a common aim: to create a place where guests can feel the beauty of nature along with warmth from their fellow Israelis.

Today, Vered Hagalil is led by Ilan rom, as general manager. Ayelet marketing manager, Adva at sales .Simcha , cochva , and Maya in reception carry on the tradition of respect and hospitality. in the restaurant comprehensive staff" edwin the manager, Chana,raz, gili . in the kitchen cooked with love Ithamar and Sarah , I'ham ,peer , samir.
The stables are under the management of Itai with his experienced staff: Mohammed (Muchie), Daniel, and Barak (grandson of Yonah and Yehuda). Adi, stable and school secretary, keeps everything in order. Samira, noha, efrat and yardena keep the guest accommodations shiny, neat and clean.Avichai ' Emek,are in charge of maintainance.
The Spa thrives under the treatments and management of ron.
Yonah and Yehuda are still around doing their chores, greeting guests and recommending choice places to visit in Galilee.
