Yehuda Avni, a native Chicagoan came to Israel in 1949, went to Kibbutz Hatzerim where he met and married Jerusalem born Yonah. After some years in a Moshav, having the urge to do something more challenging, he decided to create a guest farm where three of his main interests in life could be combined: farming, horses and people. It took a while to find the right piece of land, a beautiful site overlooking the Sea of Galilee, but it also was strewn with boulders and thistles.
Today, Vered Hagalil is led by Ilan Rom, as general manager. Adva and livnat at sales .Simcha , liran, shamir and alex in reception carry on the tradition of respect and hospitality. in the restaurant comprehensive staff" Edwin the manager, Chana . in the kitchen cooked with love chef dror dov marco and Sarah, mazal. alie
The stables are under the management of Itai with his experienced staff: sivan, yosef, and david. Noha and noga keep the guest accommodations shiny, neat and clean. Avichai, Emek and Adir are in charge of maintainance. The Spa thrives under the treatments and management of shushu.
Yonah and Yehuda are still around doing their chores, greeting guests and recommending choice places to visit in Galilee.
