During the months of January -july Vered Hagalil restaurant will be remodeled and change its mode
of operation.
Starting in july, the restaurant will re-open as a country restaurant under the management of Chef Haim Tibi.
Once re-opened, the restaurant will operate daily, including Fridays and Saturdays, and will not carry kosher certification. However, breakfasts will still be composed of dairy kosher products, on dedicated kitchenware.
By default, lunches and dinners will not be kosher, but groups desiring kosher style meals will be able to order them
in advance.
Haim Tibi has been one of the leading chefs in Israel. During the past 12 years he has managed the highly regarded restaurant at Mitzpe Hayamim resort. We are excited to partner with him in Vered Hagalil.
As we get closer to our re-opening date, we will update the website with additional details such as hours
of operation and menu.
During the remodeling period
- Breakfasts to hotel guests and small outside groups will be served in the ranch clubhouse.
- Thereafter, during the day, hotel guests will have complementary hot drinks, including fresh herbal teas from our own garden, home made cakes, our own grown fruits, and daily soup & bread at the lounge – at no charge.
- Additionally, we will assist our guests with reservations for nearby restaurants that are offering their good food at a special rate during our remodel.
All of our other facilities are operating as usual during this transition period: Hotel cottages, cabins, and rooms,
riding stable, Spa, and an abundance of peaceful landscape to stroll in. And you can keep enjoying the Jeep and four-wheeler tours of the area, historical sites, and plenty of great neighboring restaurants, including kosher ones. Our experienced staff can also help you put together special activity “fun days” for both families and groups.
We thank all the guests that have visited our restaurant during its 50 years of service and we hope that you will enjoy it even more in its new mode under Chef Haim Tibi.
